"The Gloss Pad developed by CarPro is comprised of a unique Japanese open cell polyurethane foam that was designed specifically for finishing paints of many types to a high gloss! The pad’s incredibly effective “fast rebound” foam makes it perfect for both Dual Action and Rotary machines. With features such as the dense urethane inter-layer, this pad has the ability to easily maintain even pressure over curved surfaces while allowing vibration to be absorbed prior to reaching the polishing surface. In turn, this allows the abrasives to do their job effectively without the vibration affecting performance of finish. With a beveled profile, the pad allows the face to contour out away, from the backing plate providing an extra level of precaution in those tight spots.
